We were able to extend the range 8-10 pips or so but were unable to maintain those gains and now EUR/USD is drifting back to earth. from session high of 1.32705 we’re now testing support in the 1.3240 area, the level that contained rallies earlier in the day.

US equities are ticking south as well, now modestly negative on the day after a small rally on the data.

While headline GDP was a modest disappointment (2.5%), the composition of the report was somewhat more soothing. Consumer spending was solid while government spending was weak. I’ll take that every day of the week…
